The G & J Story So Far

G & J Container Services opened in 1989 with a small office downstairs in a South Melbourne terrace.  The "G", Glenn Woodbridge & the "J", Jim Orfanellis saw an opening in the Container Re-Sale & Hire market, took their considerable experience in the Australian Transport Industry and gave it a go.

At the start it was just a few containers out on hire, some sales here and there, enough to keep things ticking over.

As Business improved and the economy picked up over the years G & J moved out of the terrace to Collingwood, and then moved again to a depot in Footscray. 

The Business expanded in the late 1990's employing Jim's eldest son Matt and moved again to it's current location - tottenham - right in the thick of Melbourne's container hub.

With G & J now over Twenty-One years old, the simple ideals and long standing methods that have made G & J Container Services a success continue.
